Riverside Nature Park

The Riverside zone provides the main road and rail gateway from the South and is home to Dundee Airport.

Dundee Airport operates flights to London Stansted operated by flybe offering up to 2 flights a day

Riverside also provides recreation and sporting resources as well as employment developments. A former landfill site has been transformed to create a 35 hectare nature park with views over the River Tay, which is intended to be used and accessed by all those living and working in the city.

Further activity will benefit this zone as a result of the Tay Cities Deal which seeks to support an aviation academy for Scotland in the region with £8.1million of investment and an investment of £9.5million at Dundee Airport to support air traffic control modernisation, securing and marketing new routes as well as enhancing airport facilities.
