The Slessor Gardens Pavilion is envisaged to be used for purposes which are complementary to the waterfront and Slessor Gardens. A planning application for use as a cafe was submitted in August 2018 (planning application reference 18/00512/FULL)
The pavilion is in the region of 50sqm and situated to the south-western side of Slessor Gardens adjacent to an existing sub station and South Crichton Street. In addition to the public use of Slessor Gardens, the location also benefits from close proximity to the V&A Dundee due to open in 2018 and to Site 6 which has planning permission for a major mixed use development which is now under construction.
