The V&A Dundee provides a landmark international destination at the Central Waterfront, and the transformation is already having an impact, with new hotels, businesses, retailers and entrepreneurs investing in the city. Visitor numbers to the city are expected to increase, with three million additional visitors predicted between 2018 and 2028, generating significant additional spending.
Most of the land in the Central Waterfront is owned by Dundee City Council, and the city development team is committed to a straightforward and rapid investment process. The Waterfront will be a mix of residential retail, leisure and office space, including up to 42,000m² of Grade A office space. Dundee City Council takes a long-term holistic approach to development, working in partnership with investors to ensure maximum benefit for all parties.
