The Edible Garden celebrates the region's rich agricultural production and excellent growing conditions.

The arrangement of the garden is based on the typically formal arrangement found in orchards. With the apple trees all being of a Scottish heritage variety and other planting including herbs and soft fruits .
This Garden was delivered with the assistance of Dundee Urban Orchard – a community based city-wide art project that has delivered a number of small scale orchards within Dundee. Urban orchards can be found at the Dundee Science Centre, the Camperdown Wildlife Centre and 22 other city sites.
